NEXT SHOW: SUPPORTING DALILA KAYROS AT NEW RIVER STUDIOS!

A night of avant-garde music and sound art and sonic experimentation at New River Studios. Sardinian duo Dalila Kayros & Danilo Casti bring their visceral and immersive performance to the UK, presenting their new release KHTHONIE, a work that plunges into ancient myth, electronic alchemy, and vocal deconstruction. Known for their bold approach to live electronics and vocal manipulation, Kayros and Casti conjure a ritualistic soundscape that is both haunting and electrifying.

Joining them are a trio of boundary-pushing local artists: JAH GOMM, delivering industrial repetitions and rhythmic explorations; Il Santo Bevitore, fusing noise textures and obscure sampling with distorted beats; and Black Arrows, bringing their ritualistic and obscure set.

DALILA KAYROS & DANILO CASTI
“Hypnotic powerful voices featuring energetic distorted rhythms. Kayros’s haunting melodies and ritualistic vocals lead to a visceral experience, weaving together raw, earthly tones with ethereal and otherwordly sounds. Their music transcends the constraints of genres constantly pushing the boundaries into diverse music terrains.” Their new album, KHTHONIE, was out on Subsound Records last month.

JAH GOMM is a collaboration between James Alec Hardy (James III) and Dan Allison (GOMM; BAG; Brickface). JAH GOMM explores textures and layers of worldbuilding, while concurrently dismantling them. 211215 is a simultaneous meeting of architects and vandals; an exploration of sound as physical; noise as structure; distortion as environment.

Il Santo Bevitore is the main stage name and solo project of Nicola Serra. He’s currently presenting live a new live set including new material which will be soon released.

“The variety of instruments and their diverse sources create an exceptional depth of space, into which the listener is alluringly grabbed into at first, to be then dragged dead later ahead.”- The Quietus

Black Arrows is the multi-instrumentalist sonic project of Aliki Karveli, a Greek-born, London-devoured interdisciplinary artist, woven from loops, words, and shadows. Aliki crafts hypnotic soundscapes through Black Arrows by blending diverse vocals and multiple instruments.
